This will always be a special newborn session for me. It was the first session I photographed after giving birth to my son. It had only been about a 5 weeks after he was born and I was quite nervous about venturing out into the city and particularly because I was still recovering and doing a lot of walking was quite difficult for me at the time. But I was committed to capturing these new parents and the magical journey that we were all on together. There is nothing better than doing a newborn session in a light drenched home. Our parents had welcomed the sweetest baby boy into the world and it was an honor capturing these crucial first few days as a new family. As a new mom myself at the time I understood that although there is so much excitement surrounding baby, taking care of mom and asking hoe she’s doing is just as important. This is one of my favorite newborn sessions to date and I can’t wait to do many more!
