I first photographed Michelle and Aj in April of 2019. They have become very special clients over the past year and a half. They were one of the first people I told I was expecting (I know that seems so weird but when you can’t tell any friends or family yet, you’ll tell pretty much everyone else).

Their wedding got postponed from April 2020 to August. I have never met a bride who felt confident in their wedding day no matter what. Family was very important to Michelle and they were determined to get married no matter what, even if their immediate family was their only guests.

The summer passed and luckily they were able to celebrate their wedding in New Jersey with a smaller guest count but none the less with joy on their faces. I also had the opportunity to photograph Michelle’s sister’s wedding Caroline a few months later. I think my favorite part was AJ’s reaction to seeing Michelle walk down the isle. It was priceless and it’s what makes me love my job all the more! Their New Jersey wedding is one for the books!
