There is no better playground for an engagement session than the streets of New York City, and this West Village shoot was everything. Cobblestone streets, charming brownstones, and two people with a style and energy that was completely their own — this session had it all.

From the moment we started walking through the West Village, it was clear Solomon & Devendra were something special. Their style was effortlessly cool and chic, the kind that doesn’t need to try too hard — it just is. But what really made this session stand out was their energy. Playful, fun, and completely in tune with each other, they made my job easy in the best possible way. When a couple is this comfortable together, the authentic moments just happen naturally — a burst of laughter, a spontaneous twirl, a quiet moment between just the two of them — and those are always the images that take your breath away.
